I grew up in Wellington, where I initially worked as a nurse in respiratory medicine and pediatrics. Led by my interest in the wider social context of health, I then completed a masters degree in public health and worked for many years in preventive health and health policy.
I completed my medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2019. I then completed specialisation in family medicine in 2023. I love the variety that practising, family medicine, in a rural setting offers.
In my spare time I enjoy being in the outdoors, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
