I studied medicine at St Andrews University, Scotland and at Manchester University, England, graduating in 2003. I completed my basic surgical training, before electing to pursue a career in general practice.
Although I was born and educated in the UK, I am a New Zealander courtesy of my parentage. I moved “home” in 2012 with my husband and my two young sons. Every day we feel privileged to live in such an incredible region.
I consider myself a true generalist. I’m comfortable working within the full spectrum of general practice medicine.
When I’m not on duty, I enjoy riding my horse and I try (but fail) to keep up with my kids on water and snow skis.
