Dr. Amy Nunn

MBChB, BSc (Hons), DRCOG, Dip IBLM

I studied and trained in the UK, graduating from Leicester Medical School in 2007.

I spent my medical elective in New Zealand in 2006 and fell in love with the country then. It’s taken me all these years to finally make it here, but 2024 was my year to finally arrive and settle in Wanaka. It really is a dream come true!

I have always loved the specialty of general practice. Every day brings variety, challenge, and opportunity to meet new people and connect with the wider community. It’s a privilege to share some people’s health journeys and make a difference. I’m passionate about Lifestyle Medicine, which identifies the 6 pillars of health which help prevent and treat chronic disease. I obtained my diploma from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine in 2022.  I have also undertaken additional training in women’s health.

When I’m not working, I’m usually up a mountain, in a lake or somewhere out in nature with those I love. I’m delighted to be a part of the Wanaka community!
