ADHD Assessment
ADHD AssessmentsAspiring Medical is pleased to introduce a new service for our registered patients: ADHD Assessments.
We offer both full ADHD assessment for patients over the age of 18 years and medication initiation for those that have an existing diagnosis (conditions apply).

Accidents or Emergencies
Aspiring Medical is well equipped for all medical emergencies. All our clinical staff are trained and experienced in emergency medicine. We work closely with hospital staff, ambulance and helicopter retrieval services, to ensure our patients receive the best care available, as Wanaka is a 1-hour drive from the nearest hospital, it is considered a rural health setting.Urgent care is available for our enrolled patients and visitors, who are acutely unwell or injured.

Aclasta Infusions
Aclasta is an infusion treatment for osteoporosis. It is a prescription medicine, which is administered by a nurse and takes approximately an hour. Please see your doctor to discuss whether this is a good option for you. Blood Tests (Phlebotomy)
Blood test services (phlebotomy) are available Monday to Friday with our trained phlebotomists.Bloods are sent to Awanui Laboratory for analysis. Results are then reviewed by your doctor and are made available to enrolled patients via ManageMyHealth.
With the exception of some specialised tests, most lab results are available within a week.
Most laboratory tests are free to New Zealand residents (there may be a charge for some laboratory tests).
