Claire O'Neill

Claire O'Neill is an occupational therapist with post graduate qualifications in community mental health, cognitive behavioural therapy, and education. She was based in Southland for 25+ years before relocating to Central Otago, where she is now making the most of the opportunities available in the region.

Health Improvement Practitioners are mental health professionals registered both with their professional bodies, and under the Health Practitioner Competence Assurance Act 2003. Training and practice background is in mental health, and we bring this experience to supporting you to learn how to manage difficult emotions, address thinking that can create difficulties/distress, sleep better, manage anxiety or challenges with mood, address concerns around addictive behaviours, work difficulties, family challenges as examples.
